Is Sozo free?

Yes — completely. No ads, no subscriptions, no paywalls. The code is open source on GitHub.

Which platforms are supported?

All six: Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux and Android TV. On iPhone and iPad, Sozo installs as an .ipa with AltStore, SideStore or Sideloadly — the download page walks you through it.

Is it safe to install?

Every build is produced by CI from the public source and published with SHA-256 checksums. Desktop builds are not code-signed yet, so your OS may warn you once — the installation help explains what to click.

How do I read light novels?

Open Profile → Sources → Novels → Add source and tap LNReader. 284 sources arrive at once. Or open any light novel from AniList and tap Find a source.

How do updates work?

Sozo tells you when a new version is out and updates in place. You can always get the latest build here.

Where does the content come from?

Sozo is a client. It runs extensions and sources you choose and hosts no content itself.
