iPHONE & iPAD

Install the `.ipa` on iOS

Sozo isn't on the App Store. The .ipa installs with a free sideloading tool and your own Apple ID. iOS 15 or newer.

Download Sozo-iOS.ipa from the iOS card above.
Open it with a sideloader: AltStore, SideStore (no computer after setup) or Sideloadly (Windows / macOS).
Sign in with your Apple ID when the tool asks — it only signs the app for your device.
Trust the developer: Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → your Apple ID → Trust.
Refresh every 7 days with a free Apple ID (AltStore and SideStore do it for you in the background).

Installation help

Android

Take arm64-v8a — it fits almost every phone from the last 7 years. Older 32-bit phones need armeabi-v7a; if you're not sure, universal works everywhere but is larger. Open the APK and allow “Install unknown apps” for your browser when asked.

Android TV

Download the TV build on the TV itself (or send it with Send Files to TV), then open it from a file manager. Sign in by scanning the QR code with your phone.

Windows

Run Setup.exe, or unzip the portable build and run sozo.exe. If SmartScreen warns you, choose More info → Run anyway — the build isn't code-signed yet.

macOS

Open the DMG and drag Sozo into Applications. The app isn't notarised, so the first time right-click it and choose Open → Open. If macOS says it's “damaged”, run once in Terminal:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Sozo.app

Requires macOS 12 Monterey or newer.

Linux

Extract the .tar.gz and run ./sozo. A .desktop file and icon are included if you want it in your launcher.

Verify your download

Compare the file against SHA256SUMS.txt from the same release: shasum -a 256 <file> (macOS/Linux) or certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 (Windows).
